Ich habe vor nach meinem Abitur ein Jahr in Australien zu
verbringen. Bin noch unschlüssig ob ich "work and travel"
machen soll oder einfach nur als Rucksackreisnder
Australien erleben will!
Würde gerne mit jemanden Kontakt aufnehmen der so eine
ähnliche Tour bereits gemacht hat!?

Ich habe ein halbes Jahr in Australien Praktikum gemacht,
also etwas anders als Du vorhast. In der Zeit habe ich aber
viele getroffen, die mit "work und travel" unterwegs waren.
Ich würde Dir auf jeden Fall empfehlen, Dir ein "work and
travel"-Visum zu beschaffen. Damit kannst Du herum reisen
und wenn das Geld einmal knapp wird, kannst Du etwas
arbeiten bis es wieder reicht um weiter zu reisen. Mit
einem Touristenvisum darfst Du ofizell nicht arbeiten, wenn
dann das Geld alle wird sieht es schon bedeutend schlechter
aus.
